Klevere is a team of AI engineers from the Netherlands who design and build custom AI agents for small and medium businesses. Not a SaaS platform. Not a reseller. Not a generic consultancy. A specialist agency that ships working AI agents into your operations and stays with you to keep them useful.
Who we are
We are a small team of engineers, product designers, and AI specialists based in the Netherlands. We have been building software for growing businesses for years, and we moved into AI agent work specifically because we watched too many small and medium businesses either paralysed by the AI hype or burned by generic tools that did not fit how their business actually operates.
The team combines deep technical work on large language models, retrieval systems, and workflow integration with practical experience running the operational side of an SMB. Everyone at Klevere has either founded, worked in, or advised a business that had to deliver client work every day. That perspective shows up in how we scope, build, and support agents.
We are deliberately small. Every project has a named owner from our side. There is no offshore delivery, no account manager between you and the engineers, no handoff to a support team once the build ships. You talk to the same people who designed the agent for as long as the agent runs.

These are the principles that shape every Klevere engagement. If you disagree with any of them, we are probably not a good fit for you and that is fine.
Custom beats SaaS for competitive workflows
Buy off-the-shelf AI for commodity jobs. Build custom for the workflows that make your business different. Forcing a differentiator into a generic SaaS shape slowly erodes what makes you competitive.
Human in the loop is not optional
AI agents that take material actions need approval steps and escalation paths. The businesses that skip this either lose customer trust or make expensive mistakes. We build the guard rails into every agent.
A properly scoped audit beats a fast pitch
We would rather run a free audit and tell you we are not the right fit than sell you a build that solves the wrong problem. Discovery is the difference between a project that ships and one that quietly fails.
You should own the agent
The code, prompts, and configuration belong to you. Agencies that keep client work proprietary have leverage over you at renewal. That is a dynamic we deliberately do not create.
Change management is half the project
The team using the agent needs to understand what it does, when to trust it, and how to override it. Building without this is why most SMB AI projects quietly stall. We budget for it in every scope.
Small and stable teams beat big rotating ones
You get the same engineers throughout the engagement. No hand-off to a support desk when the build is done. The person who designed the agent is the person you email when something looks off six months later.
How we work
Every Klevere engagement follows the same five-phase pattern. The dates shift with scope; the phases do not.
Discovery
A free thirty to sixty minute AI audit. We map your workflows, look at your tool stack, and identify where custom AI would earn back its cost fastest.
Architecture
We design the technical architecture: which model, which integrations, which human-in-the-loop steps. You get a written scope before anything is built.
Build
We build in weekly demo cycles, showing you the agent handling real work at each checkpoint. Scope changes get flagged and quoted, never silently added.
Parallel-run
The agent runs alongside the existing process for one or two weeks before it takes over. Discrepancies get tuned. Your team gets hands-on training.
Support
Post go-live, we monitor, tune, and expand the agent on a monthly retainer. Same team throughout. Real reports on what changed and why.

We do not resell SaaS AI tools with a Klevere logo on them
If a mature off-the-shelf tool solves your problem, we tell you to buy it. Our margin does not depend on you commissioning a build.
We do not build agents without proper discovery
The free audit is not a sales gate. It is how we make sure both sides know what will be built before anyone commits budget.
We do not work on projects where AI is the wrong answer
If the audit shows your workflow needs a process fix, a data fix, or a hire rather than an AI agent, we say so. Pushing a build in those cases wastes your money and our credibility.
We do not lock you into our infrastructure
The agent code and configuration belong to you. If you outgrow us or want to move, you keep the working system and the documentation.
